Major Programs
Business Opportunity Center
In an effort to make more and better vendor/corporate matches, the BOC was added to the Council to function as a dedicated brokerage service to substantially increase matches between capable minority and woman-owned businesses and specific corporate procurement opportunities. The primary objectives of the BOC are to significantly increase the number of business relationships between minority-owned businesses and the corporate community, to assist vendors in presenting their ideas and credentials in an effective manner and to increase their success in the bidding process.
Business Consortium Fund
Organized by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc., the fund offers loans to finance transactions in which registered minority suppliers provide goods and services to the NMSDC or regional corporate council members.
General Membership Meetings
General Membership Meetings provide an unparalleled networking and business opportunity. Held four times a year, each meeting is hosted by one of the Council’s corporate members. It is here that the Council's members have the chance to become familiar with the internal business structure of the various buying and selling organizations and obtain information that is valuable in making the right contact to do business in the most effective manner.
